Brooke Shields Says No More Plastic Surgery
Brooke Shields looks great for age and the Latisse spokesperson likely owes it to plastic surgery, especially Botox injections (See Make Me Heal’s story on Brooke Shields’ Botox). In a new interview, Brooke says she didn’t like the results of Botox, but is considering laser treatments like Fraxel, Active FX, or Titan to help get rid of her wrinkles.

“I want laser treatment because I’m not a fan of my wrinkles,” she says in the April issue of Ladies’ Home Journal. “But I have to find someone with a light touch. I’m scared I’ll end up looking like the Joker.”
It seems that Brooke wasn’t always afraid of plastic surgery, as she may have had a nose job early in her career to give her a perfectly straight nose with a perfectly shaped tip, not too big and not too small.
Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “ Brooke Shields may say she doesn’t like Botox, but her forehead sure does. It’s odd that she would say that since she is a spokes person for the company that makes Botox- Allergan. The only other way to achieve her perfectly smooth and wrinkle free forehead is to immobilize the muscles in her forehead through a forehead lift. Also, I’m sure she has had a little plastic surgery to maintain her trademarked arched eyebrows. A browlift and/or an upper eyelift are some ways that she may have maintained her youthful “look”. Her nose looks extremely straight and narrow. Makeup may have helped her achieve this look, but I am more inclined to say it was from a Rhinoplasty.”
Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, ” Brooke Shields does not appear to have had any major work done as of recent. She may have had rhinoplasty at some point in her life, as her nose is very perfectly shaped. Fillers and Botox are a possibility. Overall, she looks great and any work she has performed in the future is strictly up to her. ”
