Actor Robert Pattinson, known for his film "Twilight" and his role as Cedric Diggory in the film" Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire", is rumored to have had plastic surgery to improve his image.
It's been suggested that Robert Pattinson went under the knife to correct some facial 'flaws' before his dramatic rise to fame. According to goodplasticsurgery.com, the Twilight hunk shows signs of a nose job and cheek implants. We're not convinced that Rob's features have been tampered with by a plastic surgeon - what do you think? Rob back in 2006 (left) and looking remarkably similar in 2008 (right) It seems that any changing facial features of Robert's are simply just down to growing up. As he previously explained in an interview with New York magazine, “When I first started I was quite tall and looked like a girl, so I got lots of jobs, because it was during that period where the androgynous look was cool. "Then, I guess, I became too much of a guy, so I never got any more jobs. I had the most unsuccessful modelling career.”
If you examine some pics, you can see why people believe he may have had a rhinoplasty and jaw implants. His nose appears straighter and his jawline appears more filled out. A jawline implant is very similar to a chin implant, in that they are both usually made of solid silicone rubber. Another way to fill out the jawline is to use fat grafting.
Jaw implants or not, his nose definitely looks a lot better now.
But it seems that the experts can't tell for sure if Robert had actually a plastic surgery...
Many plastic surgeons believe that Robert’s nose seems to be the one he was born with. His nose simply leans to one side and is rather bumpy, not at all the typical results of a rhinoplasty.
To be more exact, plastic surgeon Dr. Sherrell Aston claims, "I have reviewed the available photos on Robert Pattinson and I believe he is the real deal: a handsome young man with strong facial features including a wide jaw and strong chin. His nose is a little wide in the middle (mid-vault), a little bit long and pulls down a small amount when he smiles. His tip cartilages are readily defined and are not easily changed surgically. He is on the road to a successful career and does not need plastic surgery to make it happen."
The opinion that Robert is a naturally good-looking young man is furthered once more by plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden who claims: "Robert Pattinson is definitely a handsome young man, and I am sure a lot of young women and teenagers are having a meltdown over him right about now. In any case, I don’t think he has had anything done. He has grown older and more mature appearing since his Harry Potter days, and that can be seen in his square, angled jaw, facial hair, and skin tone. His allure also has to do with the fictional character that he plays in Twilight, Edward Cullen, being incredibly likeable and crushed upon by young and older women alike.
I would say he does not need a thing except maybe a pair of tweezers for upkeep of those wonderful brows! Some day many years from now he may develop a low brow and someone may say the words "Botox" or "browlift", but it’s not going to be me."
Did Twilight’s Robert Pattinson Have Plastic surgery?
With the phenomenal popularity of the teen vampire flick, We thought we would explore allegations of whether or not British heartthrob Robert Pattinson has had plastic surgery.
Robert Pattinson is new to the film scene, but his recent appearance in Twilight has been nothing but successful. The teen first caught the eye of young girls in the Harry Potter movie series. With his rugged good looks and accent it is no wonder, but many actors reach the height of fame with a little help from the plastic surgeon, including Disney sensation and star of the very successful High School Musical franchise, Zac Efron (See Make Me Heal’s story on Zac Efron’s plastic surgery).
Unlike Zac, Robert Pattinson's nose job seems to be the one he was born with. His nose leans to one side and is rather bumpy, not at all the typical results of a rhinoplasty.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Sherrell Aston agrees with us, saying, “I have reviewed the available photos on Robert Pattinson and I believe he is the real deal: a handsome young man with strong facial features including a wide jaw and strong chin.
